Our location in Brunswick makes Bowdoin easily accessible by car, bus, plane, and train.

Once you get here, you'll have several options for exploring our campus, meeting people, and asking the big, important questions, like, "how's the food?"

Campus Tours and Information Sessions

Led by current students, campus tours depart from the Admissions Office and last approximately one hour. Information sessions are led by an admissions staff member and provide a one-hour overview of Bowdoin College and our admissions process. Bring your tough questions!

An interview is not required as part of the application process to Bowdoin, but if you're in town, you might as well introduce yourself. Learn more about personal interviews offered at Bowdoin.

Lunch with a Student

If you are visiting campus and are looking for lunch options, join a group of current students who are eager to welcome you. Enjoy lunch on us!

Attend a Class

To arrange to visit, check the list of and then via email to request a visit. Please arrive five minutes before class is scheduled to begin to introduce yourself to the instructor. Faculty ask that you plan to stay for the entire class.

Group Visits

We welcome high school students and educators for scheduled, hour-long group tours of campus.

Explore Bowdoin Fly-In Program

The Explore Bowdoin program offers the opportunity to spend three days on campus to high-achieving high school seniors from diverse backgrounds who might otherwise be unable to visit.

Maine Day

Meet students from all over Maine and all over the world. Attend a class. Have lunch in the dining hall. Learn about applying to and paying for Bowdoin. Ask lots of questions.
